Bonna Mirza is a prominent Bangladeshi actor, and she has a strong presence in the Bangladeshi theatre. Mirza has acted in more than one thousand Television-drama and notable films. Reading has been one of the central passions of Bonna Mirza's life. Hence, Mirza started Book Talk Bangladesh in 2017 with a few friends to spread the love for reading worldwide with a vision to form a global community of readers.
Firoze Alam is the founder of Canada Bangladesh Social Justice Action Research Alliance (CBSJARA), a platform through which he has been organizing and conducting critical conversations with academics, activists, and thinkers on issues of equity and social justice. He is a passionate conversationalist and has facilitated over a hundred conversations on critical social issues. Hosting the Book Talk Bangladesh initiative came as a logical extension of his engagement with the Conversation series under CBSJARA. Firoze is a doctoral researcher at the University of Guelph, Canada.
